Over the past week or so, I've been documenting and compiling some insights onto the early history of the MiSTer FPGA project; I've just brought it forward through the end of 2019. https://classicgam.ing/mister-fpga-history-series-part-1-mist/ is the first post, it links to parts two and three; more forthcoming.
https://shipyard.pub/ does this.
just over a day until the latest #MisterPi drop on https://retroremake.co/ . If you want a #MiSTerFPGA on the cheap, get ready to make your order!
Fun stuff; my first was Slackware 2.0 as downloaded over a week of evenings, and put onto 87 floppy disks for installation onto an old 486.
Been enjoying learning about nostr; really cool idea, and with a little more user friendliness, it can be great. So, about me: I'm a convention runner for SF conventions, a tech professional, and a retrogamer deeply into the fpga scene, including #MISTerFPGA. Mostly, I play shmups, read SF from all eras, and love talking about the things I enjoy to my fellow geeks to the point I help facilitate it.
