We broke even the last 30 days heating the hot tub and house with bitcoin miners. Free heat…in California. This is the first time it’s ever been free. 🔥

Check out some of the S19 home mining videos we made on @21millionfilms X and YouTube. https://x.com/21millionfilms?s=21&t=ik35cjZcPlRTrbHDfsTz-w
I also recommend the Urlacher on @altair_tech and @canaanio Avalon 3 for home mining.
Ooo I’m heading up to Banff for the first time in a few weeks. Going ⛸️

After trying to orange pill family and friends with a zero percent success rate over the last 3 years…I randomly had a secondary acquaintance from high school who I haven’t spoken to in 20 plus years privately DM me on X after seeing some of my bitcoin posts. After several back and forths I believe I have officially orange pilled someone. I was shocked at how much joy this made me feel, especially given the very loose personal connection. It was like pulling a fellow member of humanity out of Plato’s cave. Thanks to nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe who started my orange pill journey in 2021 with Price of Tomorrow. I’m eternally grateful. Also, I of course recommended Jeff’s book, among the other standard bitcoin go to’s, to my high school classmate.

Damn that’s a lot
I was thinking along these same lines recently. If I started to pay my expenses in Bitcoin, would my stack grow in fiat terms faster than the drawdown rate after fees and taxes? nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9
I wish someone would launch a Bitcoin collateralized mortgage. That would be a game changer for me.
That would be nice.
I didn’t realize there were bill pay transaction fees. Is it just the slippage or are there actually fees? I haven’t used it yet.

This was a great one, nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe. 👏 I added it to my BitcoinLearn.org resource site.
Nah I’m trying to figure out my rent with bill pay. Right now it’s a bank wire transfer (it used to be check only). Not sure if that’s going to work. Maybe my boomer landlord can figure out bitcoin 😂
Early 2022 I was taking out every 0% APR 12+ month credit card they would give me and buying bitcoin. I went full Saylor 🫡
True. I’m going to start using their bill pay this weekend and make sure I can in fact pay all my bills. 🧐 It just became available a couple hours ago for me.
Haha “Today I spent 10,000 sats paying my electric bill…now down to .842069 bitcoin.” Sounds like a fascinating read 😂
I’m thinking about doing an experiment. I currently have zero fiat. Starting January 1st, I want to see how long I can live off of 1 bitcoin. I’ll use nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 bill pay to pay bills. I wonder if I could live off of 1 bitcoin indefinitely? 🤔
