Jesus lover, Father, Bitcoiner, home miner, Graphene user, music lover. Working on leveling up as a Bitcoiner.

I tried searching how to do this and failed. Can you point me in the right direction?

You are here and thus one of the strong men, imo!

This is a protocol issue. A client could theoretically add it's own encryption or privacy on the sender/receiver/timestamp, but that would only hold for that individual client.

Users on other clients still wouldn't be able to receive the unencrypted DM metadata unless it their client somehow knew how to decrypt it. The other option of just not displaying the metadata doesn't work because other clients would still display it.

Have any of you tried the "view as x person" tool in Iris or logged into with people's pubkeys?ย  Although, it's kind of fun, but I feel dirty looking at not only who is messaging who, but even worse, the exact times they messaged each other.

This as a massive privacy concern which disincentivesย me from on-boarding and messaging people from my personal life.ย ๐Ÿฅธ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’€

The "influencers" here who are humble are the ones doing well because of the quality of folks residing here atm. I've already noticed a few of who I would consider "lower quality" influencers lose their interest and disengage for this reason. This dynamic will dissipate a bit as more tangential communities are absorbed into the network.

The good news is the nostr protocol creates an incentive structure that promotes high engagement from a wider spectrum high signal folks, and at the same time enhances our ability to prune and nurture our incoming engagement. IMO, this will not only continue but actually strengthen as time goes on.

Man, I finally got Iris to work! Apparently, I needed to re-enter both of my keys in Alby and delete the old Iris account in Alby. I'm so happy!

Hey there, nostr community. I'm curious to know if anyone has experience using OpenBSD as their primary operating system. Currently, I'm using Linux Mint, but I'm contemplating the switch to OpenBSD. However, I'm concerned about potential usability issues and limited access to common applications. If anyone has any insight or experiences to share, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm also considering other options like ArchLinux or Gentoo, so any thoughts on those would be helpful too. Thanks!

I want to hear you and #[1] air out some emotional drama.ย  Maybe even chair throwing and aggressive, physical postering.

In Odell's defense I think he is a very humble man at heart, who has forayed into a social life with heavy ladder climbing culture.ย  It's hard to not let it seep into you a bit.

I have suffered from this myself though, with friends and sadly even family from "prior lives".ย  Life moves so fast in some ways...

Anyways, Your point about aligned incentives (even with family) resonated with my experience and gave me clarity that was still a bit fuzzy on.ย  So, thank you!

Not fresh, but my fav because of the palm tickle at the end:

It's been covered, but not many people care so it falls down the list.ย  I did the math on this and the air pollution is less than concerning for anything outside of town.ย  I haven't done the math on the ground pollution yet however.

See here for my post earlier:

Same, I don't know what I'm doing with inscriptions or ordinals, but I don't see anything or anything linking to anything interesting...

This will be the natural foot in the door for self-custody.ย  From this seed will grow into the sun.
