lol anything run by Meta/Facebook will *not* be "decentralized" *or* censorship resistant. Quite the opposite based on the last 3 years of mass censorship from the company.
Global is paid relays only. You can change that in settings (just be prepared for the spam). Your Following+ will show a lot more than Global (paid only) generally because it's who you follow plus who they follow.

First up, Lud06 LN addresses are now supported (the ones that start with LNURL rather than looking like an email address). So you can ⚡ those as well.
Second, if there's an error with a single-click ⚡ it won't pop-up an error message but rather will briefly put a label over the ⚡ icon on the note indicating that the Zap failed. This will prevent you from being slowed down during Zapathons.

There was a bug in the tenor call if the client isn't connected to the NostrGram web socket server but using the rest api instead.

What search terms are you using? I'll try it on this end and see if it gets any results. I just tried "jim carrey" and it worked.
Looks like it was a temporary issue with Tenor's API. I didn't change anything but it started working again while I was looking into it. Try it now.
I've had a few people tell me they were missed in the original award of the NostrGram Elite User badge. If you're an NG user (which I'll verify before awarding) and were missed in the initial award to 1200+ users that created a massive hellthread when somebody used a certain client to reply to the award event (which a client shouldn't allow)... 😆 let me know and I'll hook you up.
I don't see it as a problem so much as an inevitability. It's a problem if you need to sell some BTC for some reason (which happens) and the price has been hit for some fiat market reason. If you're HODL'ing and don't need to sell, it's just a number on the screen.
A large portion of Bitcoin buyers are still fiat minded. They see it as just another fiat investment and thus it moves with the market generally while longer term goes from strength to strength (in fiat terms) due to the actual Bitcoiners refusing to sell and the inflating away of fiat's value.
Given what most "scientists" turned out to be over the past few years I'll take that as a compliment.
That's a good idea that's been suggested before. I may do that myself and see what the uptake is like.
#[0] Forgot to let you know that WavLake embedding is in NostrGram now, but if you use the search feature of NG and search for "player.wavlake.com" you'll see some of the embeds aren't loading. Like WavLake is setting a limit on how many embeds can load at once (which is understandable). I'd like to add WavLake as a filter so people can have a feed full of *only* WavLake embeds, but while that "blank" issue exists I can't do it. If it's a problem on my end I'm happy to fix whatever the issue is.
I use Kiwi browser on Android because it allows extensions like Alby or Nos2x. I use Alby so I have both the secure login and the ability to send Zaps. I strongly recommend against ever storing your private key in any web app. Too insecure.
