The US is so far behind... #[0]

After another user asked why they lose settings when they logout/login, I've pushed a small update that only wipes the sensitive information saved in the browser's memory when you logout (your pubkey and info about the last DM you received). Everything else is innocuous: your Settings, your mute list (which will be moving to the relays soon since that has a NIP now), when your last notification was received, your saved searches, etc. So now when you logout/login you won't lose everything. Refresh to get the update.

I've seen a few people ask about that. I'll tinker with it.

You lose your preferences when you logout because it's saved in browser memory and that gets wiped. It's on my to-do list to persist all settings to the server but it's not done yet.

Major news channels don't post news. They post propaganda. That said, it wouldn't be too difficult to let a user create their own custom list of domain names that constitute a feed of their own designation. It could be anything, including their favorite news sites.

It's certainly something I need to do for the most used features. I also need a help section and a nice walkthrough video that highlights the big stuff.

2. You can show the relays each note was seen on below the note. It's an optional note in Settings ⚙️ under Advanced Settings toward the bottom.

3. You can see the JSON structure of any note event by clicking the ellipsis (...) in the action icon list of any note and choosing "Note Info".

Nostr is really helping improve Lightning infrastructure. These kinds of stress tests push the limits and cause the wallets to up their game. It's all for the benefit of Bitcoin. Next Zapathon we'll see how much damage we can do, and how much improvement it will engender. ⚡🧡💜
