Idea for a Nostr game bot:

* Zap the bot any pledge amount

* Bot @'s you in a note asking your game difficulty: Reply with Easy, Medium or Hard

* Easy: Pick a number from 1 - 5. If you get it right, you get 3 times your pledge Zap.

* Medium: Pick a number from 1 - 10. If you get it right, you get 6 times your pledge Zap.

* Hard: Pick a number from 1 - 20. If you get it right you get 12 times your pledge Zap.

Thoughts?

Are you still having issues? I just helped someone else with it. They needed to turn their wifi on/off on their desktop and then it went back to working. They could access other websites but not the relays for some reason.

It's probably because other sites use https whereas Nostr apps use web sockets. Different protocol. It is odd for sure, and I couldn't tell you exactly what the reason is it went haywire on you, but it sorta makes sense. 🀷 And thanks! πŸ™

Are you trying to use other other apps on desktop+wifi? If so it definitely sounds like a connectivity issue. Reset your WiFi (turn it off then back on the computer). If that fails, reboot the router and then try again. If that doesn't work either, it could be a firewall issue.

Sounds like you're having problems connecting to the relays (based on your post saying none of the apps are working). NostrGram uses a caching server for reading posts, which is why you can read. What app are you using to post from?

Alright I added additional error trapping. If a note fails to post after 6 seconds it will show a pop-up notifying you that it failed, attempt to reconnect to the relays and reset the post button (leaving your message in tact) so you can try again. Refresh for the update and let me know if that solves the issue.

Adding additional error trapping to posting to catch failed posts. Feel free to ignore this message (or not).

Rob has helped me out a lot with bug reports and feedback regarding NostrGram. He's a good dude. Please take a look at his post and give him some feedback. It's for a good cause! πŸ™ #[0]

Ok so both you and #[2] are saying it happens in Brave. Brave has some quirks about it but I've got most of those ironed out. I'll see if I can put some error trapping in place and catch any failed posts and resubmit them or at least inform you that it failed and ask if you want to resubmit.

Same question: what platform (desktop/mobile)? What browser? And was the note content just plain text or was there anything special about it? Just trying to narrow down what the issue might be.
