Seahorses inhabit coastal waters nearly worldwide, clinging to seagrasses, corals, and sponges. Their populations are being squeezed by overfishing and habitat loss.
The first-ever observation of sexual behavior between humpbacks has been recorded. The twist? Both animals were male. 🏳️🌈🐋 https://on.natgeo.com/4bQcz9K
When billions of cicadas emerge from the ground this spring, many will be the unwitting hosts of a fungus that eats them from the inside out and turns them into sex-crazed zombies.
You did not think we were going to skip a day without continuing the story, did you? Well, here is what happened!
Emily Ruete was born and baptized in the British colony of Aden. She gave birth to a son named Heinrich, who eventually passed away. After her wedding, she and her husband moved to Hamburg and had a daughter named Antonie Thawka, a son named Rudolph Said, and another daughter named Rosalie Ghuza.
After years of what was believed to be a happily ever after, sorrow struck when Emily lost her husband in a tram accident. To make matters worse, she was denied her inheritance. In response, she turned to literature, writing and publishing a book called ‘Memoirs of an Arabian Princess,’ which shed light on the story of an Arab woman.
You might be wondering: What happened to Salma bint Said? Why over sudden we are talking about Emily Ruete? Is Emily Ruete the child of Salma and Rudolph? Why is TSC leaving us with a plot twist again?
Well, here is the answer…
You know the drill. Stick around for the continuation.

Are you seated and relaxed? Well, you should be… Here is an African twist on a ‘Romeo and Juliet’ kind of story, with the bright side being that no one commits suicide.
Love was in the air! Specifically, in the air of Zanzibar. And this time, there is no meerkat and warthog duet of ‘Can you feel the love tonight’.
Sayyida Salma bint Said met the love of her life, a German merchant named Rudolph Heinrich Ruete. Things took a twist so fast that she became pregnant, which led to fears due to certain laws against pregnancy out of wedlock, especially with someone considered an outsider. As the days went by hiding the pregnancy became hard so She had no choice but to plan her escape!
Wait, did she manage to flee? Was she captured and punished? What about Rudolph? Why is TSC cutting these stories short? Stick around for the continuation tomorrow.

Here is the continuation of where we left off. We discussed the birth of the main character of this story along with her title on the society, but we have not yet discussed her interests.
Salma bint Said was so fascinated with literature that she began secretly teaching herself to write. At the time, it was somewhat taboo for a woman in her cultural setting to even have the nerve to want to learn about literature. However, one thing that certainly helped her was being bilingual, knowing both Swahili and Arabic, which were primarily used for communication by the settlers.
This secret passion for literature worked in her favor later in life. Although she has passed away, she is regarded today as an accomplished writer and poet, focusing on themes related to identity, culture, and heritage. She also contributed to promoting Omani literature, making her a true pioneer.

Did you know that Seashells are Exoskeletons?
Well, turns out Seashells are not just any typical rocks kinda object found over the shore on an ordinary visit to the beach, they are the exoskeleton of an invertebrate animal called Mollusks (Mollusca).
What is a Mollusks? Mollusks are among an animal that lacks a backbone and spinal column, such as snails.
Wonder how they come around? Well, as the Mollusks grow, they tend to add a new layer to their shells, creating stunning patterns.
