So do you have a problem with Jpegs, or a problem with the segwit discount? π€

Now if #[1] would integrate zaps/lightning tipping we'd be cooking with gas...
Nostr had my curiosity, now it has my attention.
Amethyst just eliminated the spam problem overnight.
Paid relays and selective client side relay filtering (a la the new Amethyst update) truly put the user in the center of their experience.
Feels like in the next few years, an incredibly dynamic market will emerge around paid relays and their ability to price out spam.
Excited where this is going.
Wow, bravo #[0] .
Just updated to the newest version of Amethyst and limited my global feed to only my paid relays.
Spam is completely gone. The global feed is actually usable for discovery again.
Unbelievable.
I agree. I doubt this is talked about a year from now.
The cost of minting on Bitcoin is prohibitively expensive, so basic economics tells us the grifters will roll down to the most inexpensive chain to produce this stuff. (ie ETH / SOL, etc)
They pay for their block space. Who cares?
Do you get similarly peeved at rare coin collectors?
People are always going to use money in ways that you don't approve.
Same here. Hotel California vibes
It really is the weakest part of the app π
#[6] how do we tip you from within the app fren?!
It's stunning... Once lightning addresses and tip functionality make their way in, it will be remarkably "complete".
Amazed to see such polish in an early release like this.
