I agree, but there's a nuance to that. I respect your resolution greatly. Not just out of principle, but also because of the gain from public awareness.

It is subjective to attribute shittyness. The definition of shadowbanning is blurry and you may still use your freedom of choice to not be effected by it. I think you uncovered something that needs to be understood by more people. Transparency is essential for choice, making that point is most valuable. But in the meantime it is also trivial because everyone is free to use primal or not. I personally don't like trending as a feature, it diminishes the value of the client for me because I'm more interested in perspective and less interested in hype.

Choosing to use a client is one of the freedoms of Nostr, so shitting on a client for how it interacts with the protocol is always subjective and based on the liberty that #Nostr provides.

Client behavior is client specific! Just follow your preference, but try to understand your choice.
