I'm living in a crappy fourth floor 500sqft rented apartment in Amsterdam together with my wife and the joy of my life, he's five years old and he doesn't give a crap. He's got lego.
Yesterday my wife told me not to worry about how we live for her sake. "We'll keep it together until the market changes." she said.
I'm grateful. How are you?
Why is it so easy for dumb people to become famous? Or rephrased: why do we have so many dumb shit for brains famous people?
You can fake something, with heavy weights and protein shakes. The high time preference bodybuilder puffs and puffs until he looks like Michelin. But you can't fake stringy forearms, low fat percentage nor endurance.
I think the problem of discovery was solved, at least for the most part around 2003. A prompt would be tweakeable to yield the best result. After that commercial interference started to meddle with the results. Ever since, search results have become worse and worse. Nowadays an algorithm is cross referencing your prompt so that you get the most commercial result possible. AI could fix this, but for Nostr I think all we need is that brute force engine that Google developed 20 years ago.
The nostr business case would be a DVM, with a pay per user or subscription model.
Realism seems to be difficult for some. So here's some realism in plain text. Don't expect a beta to work exactly as desired. It's meant to be a test. Don't whine about "losing" 10k sats for being allowed to try something out that is revolutionary. Don't recommend a beta for onboarding.
Have some patience, have a mindset, have a heart.
Following discussion between nostr:npub1t3ggcd843pnwcu6p4tcsesd02t5jx2aelpvusypu5hk0925nhauqjjl5g4 and nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m
Discovery is key. Google has become worse at it so Nostr needs to become better at it. Nostr needs a free and open source search engine that performs gradually better over time.
Time for a little notebook?
So here we are young and beautiful! π Greetings drom Munich and our #Nostr meeting

Just told a buddy of mine that said #bitcoin is a speculative investment that it will likely take 1500hrs of studying for him to understand he needs a Time Machine to come back to this day.
