People who don't know how to be kind to themselves can't be kind to others.

Kindness for others demonstrates that you have a loving relationships with yourself.

Humans are just so incredibly prone to social contagion and group think. Once you’ve been paying attention for a few decades you’ll witness these wild swings where people all at once just up and change their values in dramatic ways. The language changes, the fashion changes, shit even the eating habits change… all together now!

One group changes to one extreme stance, and anther group changes to an opposite extreme stance... in the name of free thinking and rationality of course!

Independent thinking is truly a rarity. Bitcoin is not immune. Be careful.

I'm going to be a busy lady in Miami next week.

I'm doing a workshop at the #Bitcoin Builders event on the 17th and I'm on a panel discussing building #Lightning applications the 19th at Bitcoin 2023.

I gotta admit, my mind was 20% made up just from hearing the name, and the reading I've done thus far hasn't changed that initial impression.

But, before I go and make a decision here, anyone want to give me the pro BRC-20 sales pitch? Why might this be a good thing?

When I was younger I craved fancy. I wanted into the “exclusive” parties and events. Those events intentionally create an air of ‘you have to be good enough to get into here’, and I fell for that. I was determined to prove that I was good enough. But when I did finally get in there, that’s what I found, a sea of people desperately trying to prove themselves. People being lead around by the latest status symbol.

Unhealthy, to put it politely. And not at all the victory I was hoping for.

At the dive bar you find the humble but the unambitious. At the VIP party you find the ambitious but soulless.

Finding the magical combo of the soulfully ambitious is no easy task. I still don’t have the formula. But the early days of Bitcoin came pretty close. 🧡
