The Internet for the entire country of Pakistan is being throttled to spur speech.
Nostr represents humanity’s best chance as preserving free speech at the protocol level.

Well, apart from the things I suggested at the end of this article (https://mslmdvlpmnt.com/a-beginners-guide-to-nostr-2025/), the strongest method is zapvertising. I once tried it out of curiosity to see if it would bring anything. You randomly zap a few accounts with a zap message and it should bring you a few ROIs. Well, I didn't get any ROIs, but instead around 50 new followers. I didn't expect that.
You basically "buy" followers for Sats 😁. In my test, I only invested 21,000 Sats and distributed 21 Sats to 1000 random users.
So, if someone wants to quickly draw attention to themselves, they should spread a few Sats.
