Happy valentine's Nostriches! 💜🧡

❤️
😱 we need #[5] in here
Nostr is purple
Bitcoin is orange
....
🤦♀️ can't think of a good rhyme with orange
No, gifting is also painful if you do properly - you treat a bitcoin gift as a taxable event (ie sale) & the receiver gets it at that adjusted cost base :(
(From experience gifting & doing taxes)
*straight to jail*.gif
Experiential gifts are better than physical imo - ie do something you'll both enjoy & have a good memory
A nstrich puts its head in the sand, not to hide from the world, but to filter out the noise
I lean towards Ohio - home turf cover up vs European cover up. Ohio could create a bigger panic in the population
Then again, why not both hahah
Seems to be closer to Chernobyl. I'm getting Bhopal chemical disaster - bad operating procedures & cover up vibes
I wonder if Ohio politicians, especially the mayor) have returned w/ their family
Sadly, only participating in virtual this year. I'm going to Wyoming beginning of March & too much travel gets expensive
🙌🏼
Thanks for the info - I don't frequent bars often (not my scene) & it's the first time a camara was blatantly in my face like that
I get it, but it's a matter of controlling what I do with my data or images. Opt in / opt out. No choice & a camera in my face made me uncomfortable & the fact they use it to enforce their set of rules (ie keep one out of participating in aspects of society) also made me uncomfortable. Kind of like nostr - my data, may choice
🧡
My girlfriends were mad at me, & said its for my protection (if I get murdered), but the bouncer said it's to enforce bans 🤷♀️
Yes, it seems all the clubs are plugged into the same surveillance system (I noticed other ones had cameras too at the front desk, *shudder*). Ironic the next person I talked to confirmed he was denied entry for a year via this system - very CPP, wrt what you can/can't do
