This is not an exaggeration. The internet is broken.

I remember when Canadian governments called natural gas a 'transitional fuel' to a low carbon economy...

Now you'll GO TO JAIL with Canada's proposed bill

I was curious, I wanted to know who will subsidize the green miners, but the paper never even outlines this!!

Paypals' new green scheme makes no sense. It wants miners to pick low value fees (uneconomical) & some benevolent entity (tbd) will give them a subsidy to make up for it

Bitcoin doesn't need wonky schemes, miners are already building renewables & cutting methane & toxic waste

Fees rn are 3 BTC, it would need to be a sweet subsidy to make any rational miner switch to Paypal's wonky green scheme

If you don't own Bitcoin, you don't have exposure to the geopolitical implications of mass wealth confiscation

There's a mining project in Paraguay that's drying mangos with excess heat

Their operation eliminates 2.5 tons of carbon per MW each month from switching the drying operation away from fossil fuels to hydro power + they donate 10% of mango profits to Bitcoin core

PS. Can verify, mangos were delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹

Bitcoiners are fixing the money!

Travel tip for Bitcoiners visiting Warsaw for the nostr:npub1rjtrs7xqdvj3588r9njrexh2n750j7jdwx9qs543nutmdsj6ljaqpfmp8a. Go to a grocery store (like Kaufland) & get yourself some Spanish & Italian meats, French cheeses, & local pastries ๐Ÿ˜‹

Six months ago I visited a mall on the outskirts of Krakow & the fx exchange sold Bitcoin. (My personal point of reference wrt Bitcoin normalization is when fx exchanges sell it)

No Bitcoin signs today (ended their agreement w/ Kanga Exchange). However, I did find a BTM!
