Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well. This morning is somewhat cloudy, but not currently raining. The Weather Channel app says it is 68, and today’s high temp will be 77. (Nearly perfect temps, imo!)

Basement reports: there is still water on the floor in places, but the floor is drying, as I had (again) pumped out standing water and turned on the dehumidifier.

This afternoon my wife and I will be heading to a local hospital to visit my dad and take a charging cable for his phone. We are hoping he’ll be well and discharged from the hospital by sometime tomorrow afternoon so he can be in church on Sunday.

Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well this morning. I wipe up to what seems like a nice treat - it actually feels nice outside this morning! It is nice that the humidity has left and it is cool and breezy now. The Weather App says it is 74 now, and our high temp today will be 82 with a mix of clouds and sun.

I’m going to get ready and head out for my daily walk. My wife and one of the not-so-littles will be home soon from doing morning chores at the stable where one of the 4-H projects lives.

I wasn’t smart enough to buy it then, though.

I’ve not had to replace/upgrade a laptop CPU or screen (I did replace an inverter board? that powered the screen’s backlighting), but I have upgraded HDD/SSD and RAM.

I’d recommend doing good homework to make sure the new components are compatible with the target machine.

Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well today. I just got home from a 3.6-mile walk. It is humid this morning, but not hot. There is a slight breeze, and the birds sound happy. I was planning to go to a local archaeological dig this morning, but the fellow I’d be riding with wasn’t feeling well and cancelled. Now I’m going to go sample the coffee I started as o left the he house for my walk.

Good night, NOSTR Friends! I hope you sleep well. Today I went for a 4.2 - mile walk, and since then I’ve scanned a number of old (pre-2022) Bitcoin wallets - and found no old coins. 🙁 Since those wallets were unused, I discarded those files.

I’m currently between wallets and BTC Core is catching up on sync-ing with the network.

Tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 90’s here in northern Ohio, and I’ll be spending the day in AC with family. 😀

I had to run a couple of errands this morning, then we had a family outing to watch a movie.(How to Train your Dragon) It was fun. And I just figured out the answer to a problem I was having with software I use for editing video files. I'll shoot some video tomorrow, and try to get the pieces-parts spliced to make something watchable.

Now it is time to grab a small snack and head for bed.

Can anyone recommend a text-to-speech software that converts text to a natural-sounding computer voice? Or, do you know if ChatGPT does this?

I want to create videos and add a voiceover, but am not a good speaker - lots of pauses, um’s, and uh’s.

I want to script the text and upload it to ChatGPT or a website which will then create an mp3 file for me to download.
