Felt like it was meant in both cases. I don’t know why there’s so much effort to split hairs here and dismiss one or not the other. The “jokes” were vetted by the event time and along with not being funny at all, they were needless offensive. If the Democrats brought someone into any event to do the same thing, would you accept the “iTs jUsT jOkEz yOuZe GuYs!!!” excuse?
However it also makes it a lightning rod from many people to, understandably, dismiss it. If the only people speaking loudly about bitcoin are scammers you might just assume it’s a scam.

Like Bitcoiners cant be out here acting we’re Warriors of Truth and then be lined up, eager and ready to spread the cheeks for whichever empty suit can pantomime the word “Bitcoin” without short circuiting. That ain’t winning.
The issue isn’t about his support of Bitcoin - which if his previous behavior is any indication - is wholly shallow, pandering, and will be abandoned at the first sign of friction or complexity. It is that he is a moral-less clown and a dangerous megalomaniac and an octogenarian in the early stages of degenerative mental decline.
All this does is just wildly undermines this election analyst’s model credibility - in September, his model was indicating a Harris win by more than 400 electoral votes - which is equally absurd. The betting markets are market by low liquidity, selection bias, foreign participation (ie the financial-political desires of foreign interest may not match those of the American people).
