Been enjoying Arc Raiders. I normally play a few indie games here and there, but this is first time playing a mainstream game in a while. There is so much more then just the game. An entire ecosystem has grown around it. Tons of TikTok and Youtube content of all sorts. Community sourced maps to help you find loot!

Are you getting it because your child wants it or you would have wanted it as a kid?
"Does it matter??" This looks epic!

Cool web map embed library: mapcn. I donโt have a use-case to use it currently though.

On the topic of JJ. Here is a nice alias to make pushing to remote git repo faster.
`jjp: aliased to jj bookmark m main --to @- && jj git push`

Trying to learn Riichi Mahjong. Bought a set while on vacation in Japan. Finally managed to win an online match vs bots. Not even sure how I scored so many points.

Just finished Playing Patience, a short story in the Ravenor Omnibus. At first, I was annoyed because it is not chronologically next after the second novel. Glad I kept with it. Was a fun backstory flashback, nice break and chance to build anticipation for Ravenor Rogue.

Feeling like a hacker. Accidentally had a tailscale key set to expire on one of my homelab nodes. I was able to use a working node as a jump host to connect to the problem node and fix the issue.
```
$ ssh -J travis@host1 travis@192.168.1.xxx
```

Delta chat looks sick. Been looking for a self-hostable chat with clients for iOS, Android and web. Only problem is at this stage the backend is not dockerized and would be difficult to get working with my homlab cluster setup.

A Gemini capsule backed by an AWS Lambda function? Goes against the Gemini community vibe I feel, but that is the point. The protocol itself does not necessary push towards selfhosting.

Affinity has gone free! Not sure how they are making money though. ๐ค AI extra features?
Love affinity photo for editing photos.
I'm in the market for a handheld linux pc / cyberdeck. The HackberryPi CM5 looks cool. I dig the blackberry keyboard, but for 225 EUR I think clockwork pi has more attractive offerings like uConsole.
Getting some backups going for my homelab today.

Switching back from helix editor and it's keybindings to vim. Omarchy inspired me to checkout LazyVim.
Trying to get my fingers to unlearn.

Fun little web games from a game jam. I'd like to make a small game like one of these someday.

Something I missed when setting up jj as my main version control on personal projects was commit signing. No longer! Let all the commits be signed!

Another daily puzzle. This one on arranging dates of historical events.
I need to get a Linux desktop going again. Omarchy looks good.

If I didnโt already have a split ergonomic mechanical keyboard, this Flow84 looks good. Oh and retro keycaps look cozy.

AT protocol has so many moving parts.
Great article covering the architecture:

Nostr is extremely simple in comparison. Exhibited by the number of relays people have coded using a vast diversity of programming languages. Communities aside I prefer hacking with nostr.

Always wanted to play Satisfactory, but have not been in position of Gaming PC in recent years. Would be cool if Steam games were playable on Xbox.
