GM! I’ve been pondering what would happen if #bitcoin one day hit a price of >USD10M per coin. Once it gets past this point there would be fewer #sats per dollar than cents.
My understanding is that sats are the smallest unit on-chain but if we got to this point I’m sure a cent would be near worthless anyway.
I’d also assume that most transactions would take place over #Lightning or equivalent.
Anyway, my question is — does Lightning allow fractions of a Satoshi?
I’m sure a quick search would tell me but I’ve written this now, so…

I'm still pretty new to nostr but it’s mostly been continual Zen Mode after X. I don’t always agree with everything I read but only once has there been someone that soured my mood and they are not able to anymore.
I’m sure it won’t last but it could be good to have different modes with apps, like Beast Mode for when you’re feeling feisty.

Yeah. I ditched Facebook years ago and NEVER used that Messenger app. Stayed away from Twitter until I wanted to get involved with more immediate bitcoin news and chat. I’m not totally off-grid but getting there.

Absolutely. I lived on Twitter until it started becoming a marketing tool. Feel like I’m back there again on nostr. Just like ol’ times.
I'd suggest trump, harris, commies, fascists, warren, RNC, DNC, POTUS, etc too for a truly blissful existence.
I feel sorry for the kids spending their formative years on social media being fed “the truth” about any crazy whackjob conspiracy theory you can think of.
And the algos will provide absolute positive proof for all of it and feed on their paranoia by spamming their feeds with more of the same. Reinforcement and division.

Yes, I think that's true. I came to nostr expecting everything to tally up and messages to be seen everywhere. Basically, I expected Twitter without the algorithm, toxicity and bots.
A short learning-curve later, I’m beginning to get it. It actually reminds me of early Twitter, where it was more of an online interactive diary we sent out into the ether.
It feels early and new and like anything is possible. It’s cool and I’m bullish AF on nostr.

Okay, hear me out. I’ve got into this thing called Bit Coin. It’s a crypto but not one of the bad ones apparently. This dude called Nakamodo built it or it might have been a group or actually I think the CIA. Anyway, he/they forgot about it and now it runs on its own. Cool, huh?
