Christian warrior working to usher in Christendom 2.0. Working out the details but it includes promoting honest scales (sound money), loving both family and community to include unapologetically protecting them from the many evils that would prey on them. v I don't categorically approve of all these guys below say but I'm totally onboard for the broader picture of building a new Christendom. v Welcome to the King's Hall on Podbean, check it out! https://www.podbean.com/ea/dir-i6yz6-12c3ca09

Though I'd hate to see you go, I wouldn't blame Frederick at all for choosing to leave VA for W VA. I only wish Ilived closer to that border and could push my county that way. VA has gotten crazy bad, dominated by just a few counties.

Where'd you find that? Did you go to a botanical garden?

Have you set up your wallet yet so you can zap folks? I finally did last week. It's really easy, especially if you already use Strike (the same company manages your Primal wallet).

"The tragedy of modern man is not that he knows less and less about the meaning of his own life, but that it bothers him less and less."

-- Vaclav Havel

It's understandable that adding women would totally change the dynamic. I was Air Force and never knew a "time before women" there. So here's a social grenade of a question (you can ask these on Nostr, I think).

Did adding women to subs make subs more effective weapons of war or is it a failed social experiment? It sounds like it made things more civilized on the subs but does that make for better war fighters?

Thanks for inspiring me to figure out the wallet. Pretty easy if you already have a Strike account (they manage the primal wallets too). So I'm zapping you momentarily.

You are my first zap ever! I clearly didn't know what I was doing bc I did it twice by accident but you deserve a double so all good!

That said, I hear you about making the most of the present. That brings to mind a quote from "It's a Wonderful Life" -- "Youth is wasted on alll the wrong people!" Enjoy it! Making good choices helps. But don't be afraid to dream big and fail. Take smart risks.

This book makes my point well – "The Power of Meaning: Finding Fulfillment in a World Obsessed with Happiness" by Emily Esfahani Smith.

Yum! but it's begging for a description.

Generally true. Absolutely true for women. I'd say most men would prefer to be respected than loved, though at times of weakness, the little boy inside probably does just want to be loved.

Thanks. I may get there eventually (running a node) but my concern is that economic incentives (like for mining) are far more reliable for motivating people to behave well than asking folks to do things to be good citizens. Ideally we'd all want to be good citizens but I'd be far more confident about it all if there were economic incentives to run a node.
