I switched to edge during poasts infancy and it did seem to be faster to load anything (predictive loads which ended up being not related at all) so I moved back to firefox and I haven't looked back. some issues with firefox:
1. you can copy someone's entire profile directory onto a usb, no encryption no nothing and take all of their browser saved passwords with you
2. firefox doesnt really have the fastest rendering engine. what firefox does have, however, is it's own engine. this ensures that most issues you run into others wont, and vice versa. in this case videos play properly
3. firefox is run and developed by trannies I would call it trannyware but trannies exponentially kill themselves so i think calling it self-vaporware is more appropriate. that being said, firefox has many open source projects that have in past influenced mozilla and google to make changes.
in short, no there is no browser that isnt gay. firefox isnt removing codec support arbitrarily. i would dump chrome fast
1. Not a problem, i don't mind unlocking another luks container for the purpose.
2. Speed is also not an issue, plenty of computing power.
3. As long as it werks.
I'd make a switch due to security/privacy, but trannyzilla is blatant with it's data collection in most end-user products. Probably should look at debloated/security mitigated forks, but that's useless work at this point.
