Yeah, mine is resynching and starting to look better now
It's not my node, though it's not showing the correct data either
Ummmm .... what happened?
Here I was worried about the halving and didn't even realize the doubling was right around the corner.

Good morning to everyone except BRC20 shitcoiners βοΈπ
Finally, a tax system I can support
It is with great pleasure that I report BRC-20 tokens are already getting rugged.

From what I understand, BRC-20's are nothing more than just like 5 lines of json data. Of course they're getting rugged since anyone can replicate it. I can't wait for this shit fad to be over with.
Fees are relatively low now. I think I can now finish setting up lightning on my new node. Quick couple of questions:
1) Are there any other fees I need to worry about besides opening/closing a channel and sending BTC on-chain to fund?
2) Who should I open an outbound channel to?
3) How do I get inbound liquidity? Do I have to worry about any fees for anyone connecting to me inbound?

It's worthless shitcoinery
It'll cost me about .02 BTC / $544 just to consolidate my UTXOs at the moment π

There are already 8,550 BRC20 shitcoins on bitcoin's blockchain?
How can they KYC anyone if you don't have to give any personally identifying info about yourself?
This is getting ridiculous. BRC20 shitcoins are making it stupid expense for simple transactions to go through. π
π I should have consolidated my UTXOs when the fees were cheap.

Lol, the other square / rectangular thing. The bread. π
I think I finally figured out how to reverse sear. Put a cast iron pan on the grill while your steak is cooking, which gets it way hotter than it would have on the stove.

AFAICT, youβre looking for the hsm_secret file that core lightning creates when you create the wallet the first time. This is the private key. Iβm more of a lnd user so just going by the docs here.
https://github.com/ElementsProject/lightning/blob/master/doc/BACKUP.md
Thanks, I'll check it out. I was gonna use LND but it's still synching. Just in case I switch over, how do I get the private keys there?
Very nice π€€ π₯©
To all the expert lightning node operators out there. Even though I've been in bitcoin since 2013, I'm just now starting to run my own node and lightning, so still a novice in that regards.
My setup:
Node: Start 9 Embassy
Lightning backend: Core Lightning
Lightning front end: Ride the Lightning
My question:
I see where I can generate an on-chain address to send funds to, but I don't see anywhere that I can export the private keys and I'm also unable to locate where they might be on the filesystem/OS.
Anyone know how I can get the private keys or a recovery phrase? I'm hesitant to send any bitcoins to an address that I can't recover. Thanks.

Yeah? Why exactly? Is it easier to use, more robust, more feature rich, or something else?
Had to cook my breakfast in the rain today, but I had to eat, so it was necessary.

Don't think that's gonna happen. Probably should have got as much as you could have in that range while it was there.
She was so hungry that she just started eating the plate instead of the pizza. I guess when you got all those extra fingers, every last calorie counts π€£
