I didn’t lose them, I transferred them out of my possession thinking it would do the reverse, transfer them back into my possession.

I used the wrong address to redeem not knowing what this function was.

As no warning message was given I didn’t think I needed to act with caution.

Usually when it comes to functions that transfer coins you get some kind of indication that this will transfer fund out of your possession, I got nothing, so I thought nothing of it.

Managed to find this function in albyguide and from I can see it’s lost.

So really keys or no keys, coins are not mine anymore.

So what does this do?

What should I do?

I always wanted a place that wasn’t x or reddit to discuss and share.

Who do I follow to learn more about using this kind of social media?

Where do I find people of general interest in this space?

I don’t have any socials to connect with this so I’m starting blank.

Post and use hashtags accordingly. Follow those who reply and check out who they follow. Search hashtags of interest and follow those and you'll find people with similar interests.

Nostr was built by people who see bitcoin as a beacon of uncorruptibility which is hope for a new and better system. If not a bitcoiner, dont be put off by it and the occasional toxocity, rather, try a little curiosity follow a few people who try to explain it well and see what you conclude.

Recommend finding some good humour too!

About 85% of nostr's relay network is now offline. We are down to about only 10 relays that are still working well. This number could go either way in the next year, up to 20, or down to 5. There are competing forces of centralization, decenralization and trickle down economics at play. I hope more people run relays and the network gets more support.

I am always trying! I even wrote a guide to setting up Nostr back in 2023. Got a few people to try but so far none have stayed. Their incomes are tied to their already successful networks... and in some ways I actually like this about #nostr. I don't feel like every second person only wants to be online friends to eventually sell me something 😬😅🧡🫂

I like meeting the people here and hope to meet a lot of people IRL at conferences and on my travels. My kind of people. 💯💜🦄🦩
