Twitter can never build from ground up.
It is under so much regulation it doesn't have any space to wiggle.
Twitter has so many issues it needs to solve rn. It cannot innovate like Nostr.

How do we help users make money directly through bounties or indirectly through education, commerce, etc.

I love nostr, Bitcoin and how good zapping is. But I also love Ethereum, L2s and programmable money.
Is there a nostr x ethereum remix happening anytime soon? How can we integrate the ecosystem of Ethereum into Nostr? To start with, NFTs for identities. Zaps using L2s. And just Ethereum logins.
Elon Musk admitting that there is censorship because of the govts is quite brave. He didn't have a choice.
This is a feature on nostr. Govts can't reach out to every nostr relay out there. Some nostr relays are run by anons.
Most people in the world don't consider govt attacks as a threat. Which is fine in some countries. But it'll be terrible in some other countries. Or some countries have terrible administrations that a powerful agent in the govt can easily attack you whether its justified or not.

Is chronological order feed really that good? I do believe that Twitter’s feed is garbage. Because they’re optimising for your addiction.
If there’s an open algorithm where we can mix and match chronological posts, posts based on likes, based on previous interaction with the OP, etc., that’s way better than a closed source algo optimised for eyeballs.
But why would they have done it? To make more money of course. If you were fortunate enough to be in their shoes, would you have taken the righteous path?

It’s the system that allows them to do it. Including giving them an ability to tweak the system to their benefit, using their own narratives through the media they control to convince the 51%+.
The system is the problem, not the people that are exploiting the system. We gotta exit.
I mean, if I give you a knife to kill an innocent in front of you for a reward with no consequences and I keep increasing the reward by $1000 everytime you refuse, you’ll slash his throat at a certain reward.
But, if there were two people where the first person to slash the throat gets the reward, one of you will do it a lot sooner for a lot less.
It’s human nature. That’s what’s happening with the system. The establishment is slashing millions of throats bits by bits because as humans we’re savages.
Exit the system. Let’s build a new one.
That’s an interesting theory. Although I don’t think it was done with such forethought, the meatgrinder became a boon for the wealthy at the top.
But it’s also good to remember that the survivors of the war were stronger than the ones that perished(on average). So I don’t know if it had such a bad impact in the US. Of course, it’s a different story in Germany.
They believe in the cause so much to vote with such conviction.
A whale is a value provider(in the longer run), his vote should be counted with the weight.
