The direct translation would be Milk Bay Beach in the town of Beach

This is on the False Bay coast. False bay faces towards the south. The Atlantic ocean (cold) is on the western coast and the Indian ocean (warm) is on the eastern side of False Bay.

The oceans supposedly meets at Cape Point and if you go by that assumption then False Baby lies in the Indian ocean.

The oceans however meets over a much larger extended area around Cape Agulhas which is about 300km to the east of False Bay so Fakse Bay is 'more' in the Atlantic than in the Indian ocean.

Because of this the water is almost just as cold as on the water on the Atlantic coast.

Cape Agulhas by the way is also the most southerly point on the African continent so most agree this is where the oceans really meet.

Not really, the name of the beach is Melkbaai in both English and Afrikaans. A direct translation would be Milk Bay Beack yes.

For interest, the town's name is Strand which is the Afrikaans word for Beach. So if you litraly translate it all it's Milk Baby Beach in the town of Beach.
