The Rich Idiots got to the helm of the United States of America and I realised that with their blind cuts to everything whose purpose they don't understand they are going to repeat New Hampshire failed libertarian experiment

Republicans like cutting services and taxing people more.
I wasn't looking for them. It was a trending note on Amethyst.
Well, looks like we found someone in the democratic party with a backbone.
Thank you Gov. Janet Mills.

Oh I thought this was about verifying identity on nostr. I already sign commits on github.
$ cat ~/.gitconfig
[user]
signingkey = removed
email = removed@users.noreply.github.com
name = Removed
[commit]
gpgsign = true
Elon didn't cut enough to pay for this. He cut like 0.0003% at most.
Good Afternoon folks: Well, on Nostr, this might be a slightly redundant message (events are signed and there are plenty of web of trust relays around) but please don’t let others impersonate you as easily as "Linus Torvalds" over here: https://github.com/jayphelps/git-blame-someone-else/commit/e5cfe4bb2190a2ae406d5f0b8f49c32ac0f01cd7. Especially in situations where this is entirely preventable.
Just… sign your stuff! Don’t put your users at risk. Don’t let laziness, advocacy for other tools or conspiracy theories dissuade you from doing it.
Yes, Nostr has its own emerging alternatives. Also, software like AGE (for encrypting files) and Sigstore (for software supply chain security) are also shaping up nicely. But in many contexts, not only is PGP not dead, it’s still the most widely available and arguably the best option around.

Good afternoon, folks! Just a quick reminder: PGP isn't dead. Sign with pride!

Can I just use NIP-39 to verify my identity instead?
Putting on my #maga hat for a minute. Sometimes the right gets it right.

This is more of an activitypub thing. Nostr is a broadcast and forget type of protocol. Messages get copied sent out to everyone. I can't block someone from seeing or replying to my messages, or block anyone from even following me, for that matter.
Ooh, there was this one guy who used to call everyone a jew a lot. I wonder what happened to him.
Nothing was true in that speech. It was all made up or half-truths.
Another week, another "revolutionary" LLM has been released. And here we go again. Everyone rushes to create an account, play with it, and share their opinions on social media.
LLMs are the new JavaScript frameworks... Except they take, well, a bit more than an open source developer and a laptop to build.
Is anyone else feeling LLM fatigue? Wondering if it’s even worth creating an account to test yet another tool?

It's probably not worth it until it shows up here.

Yeah, zaps are overrated. Not everything has to be about money.
RFK is a good reason why people should stay away from drugs.
We need ranked choice voting
I'll wait until it is ranked on artificalanalysis.ai
