Remember what we are dealing with nostr:note1p8a6xddu3sxlrwqp593rrm46veldk2k0g7pu3ghpfx4xrzql2qcq9fl3we

Listening to nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx s rip with Jewher Ilham, on the Ughur forced labor slave camps in China.

What occurs to me, is that if we stopped buying new electronics, with any parts from China, for the next 2 years, we could wake every company up, and do direct damage to the CCP bottom line.

Just 2 years, using nothing but used tech.

I’m going to do it.

Starting from today, 25th of May 2024. If I need something, I’m going to source used gear. We can’t stop what’s already been made, but we can stop the CCP from profiting now.

nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx is understated in most of his podcasts because he is a good interviewer, focusing on the guest. We don’t get to hear how much he actually knows unless we listen to him being interviewed. Dude is sharp.

In the States we had a weird thing called a Party Line which was a marketing way of saying everyone in a neighborhood shared the same outgoing phone line. Youd pick up the phone to make a call, and hear your neighbors talking. you had to wait until they finished to make a call.

When I was a kid, I could go to the B&I variety store, buy containers of black powder, some pvc pipe, and some model rocket igniters. Then go home, run 100 feet of wire, and use a slot car track controller with a car battery to make remote detonated explosives that would scare the crap out of my parents.

This is largely true.

But what I’m thinking about is slightly different.

I have a thought rolling around in my head today that goes something like, “the existence of overgrown gooberment bureaucracy, and mega corporations is always a sign of neglect on the part of the populace.”

I have perpendicular streams. Research says it won’t cross those.

But I find that hard to believe

Trying to find or make a naturally water barrier contained space on our property to plant tall bamboo.

It’s too useful not to have some growing.

Sucks. But take deep breaths lol.

The struggle is real.
