Still learning myself but the one thing I’ve noticed I really need to improve on is simply taking the time to sit down and be present in the moment with my daughter. I’m someone that has a hard time sitting still at heart and can always find something to do between dishes, vacuuming or other random household chores.
I’m really trying to be better about letting all that shit just wait and focus on spending more moments sitting with her. Even if that’s all it is is sitting.
