🎨 Wallet Redesign - The wallet screen received a makeover and now has a nicer look and feel. The new design is based on prototypes provided by nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac. Thank you so much for your contribution 💜

What’s next? We are still far from done. Over the next couple of days and weeks we will continue to work on NUT-11 and additional login methods (NIP-49 / ncrypt). Also there will be static payment pages for all users (again, thanks nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac for the suggestion). Lots of code to write. Please leave your feedback while we are still early and in WIP phase 💜🤙

Any chance of option for showing wallet balance in fiat?

Most of us don't need it but it's helpful when onboarding normies.

why do I need to give personal information to open a wallet? is the wallet custodial?

I believe it's handled by strike in the backend, and this is needed for regulatory reasons.

Just going off comments I've seen in the past.

It's good for people to have multi-use devices. Flashlights, calculators, whatever.

Is it possible to activate Alby wallet in Primal on Android?

Perhaps you need to untick this thing in settings?

That shouldn't be possible unless there's multiple instances of Mostr. Maybe you're seeing users from my local dev instance?

It's political. Bluesky is the "reasonable liberals" platform, to be distinguished from Mastodon's "woke liberals and furries" crowd. Nostr is not high-class enough, because it's a little too anti-authoritarian, whereas Bluesky and Gnome are both projects of academics, whose entire worldview is built around authority, starting with authority of their college.

Who are you expecting to use ditto? Fedi people? Nostr people? A new crowd?

Does amethyst allow zap splits? I've seen it render other users' splits but I can't see an option for me to set splits
