Well, me and nostr:npub18c556t7n8xa3df2q82rwxejfglw5przds7sqvefylzjh8tjne28qld0we7 are behind 25 or so of those bots 😂
I find them interesting when I want to know what’s going on; but recently unfollowed because it felt overwhelming (I was following all of them to make sure they work)
I may follow a few later again.
We had people say they wanted more news shared so I found a bunch of feeds to add thanks to nostr:npub18c556t7n8xa3df2q82rwxejfglw5przds7sqvefylzjh8tjne28qld0we7

Can someone wiser in #nostr please explain? I see all these accounts here for news, like #[1], #[2], #[3] (I'm sure many others I don't know about). What are they? I assume there are no humans behind it and comments or any reactions would be useless?

For some, it's religion, for others, bitcoin, the list goes on. And yet, the US flip flops from one side to the other almost on schedule. It's easy to see when there are only two meaningful parties.
How about https://satellite.earth ? It's no-nonsense (sometimes a little too no-nonsense for me).
Depending on your browser prefernces, #nostrplebs can also use #nostore extension. Just throwing it in the mix as it took me forever to realize that and it has been very useful.
On iris.to there's a "block" and "report (public)" - I assume the last one reports spam?

Once upon a time, when I started playing around with keyboard shortcuts with the intension of being more productive (in the long run), and wrote a little about it, now posting with the intention of practising attaching #nocomment links ☺️
And it is on by default. Now that I'm checking... I wish #primal had an option to disable link previews or make them smaller, they look gigantic.
