Very much the reason we're on Nostr. I wonder though was this every in doubt, were it the opposite direction it would suggest the user would have to reach a little further for no net benefit. Obviously open to explanations as to why under rather than over might be optimal. Indeed perhaps it is possible to patent the alternative direction?
Interestingly modular arithmetic is used in the lightning roulette codebase. Learning it at school was like "whatever, this is stupid" except when you actually need it in reality it is incredible.
