I found it by looking at Edward Snowdens work I saw he moved to nostr and thought I would check it out. Prior to that I had never heard of it in my life.
Yes that part is simple enough for most to understand however the long keys and needing to go to other platforms for nip5 verification can be intimidating

I agree. nostr seems to need a lot a lot of work before it is used my the masses. If the proper installments are made and development continues I could see nostr being the future of media and entertainment however in its current state it seems to be a very niche community that could impose danger on unversed individuals
