One of the biggest obstacles to growth I've seen in people is that make everything about themselves. Not everything happens to you or for you. The higher you climb the more it is about others.

When struggles starts - no matter what happens - on your end it's all about staying productive, being a good person, and doing the best you can. That's all.

Yes, you are there because of the experiences and skills that you have. But maybe you're also there to be an example. Martyr. You could be part of someone's test. You never know how Universe wants to use you.

After going through all the life experiences and startups in the last two decades - the only moments I regret are those when I lost control and lashed out, blaming and hurting others.

On the other hand, if I managed to keep control and stay the course, it has paid huge dividends. I've had engineers come back in decade and admit they've been assholes causing problems, only to end up being critical for the projects I'm currently on. Young startup founders who followed my struggles and wanted to know details behind them so they can do better. Or my favorite - VCs that have been following me on Twitter for years... and complain they can't shitpost (I explain that they can, but not high success rate there).

The most important part: don't allow pain to provide opening for corruption to seep in, allowing others to vilify you. Stay the course and do the best you can. Protect others that are overexposed. The more you can honestly channel the truth you feel, the better in tune you'll be to manifest whatever outcome Universe wants you to manifest.

Apple users would much rather keep paying Apple and bitching year after year. I hate Apple, but I'm glad they gave the EU the middle finger.

Apple has done a wonderful job convincing their sheep that good alternatives don't exist.

I'm pretty happy on CalyxOS and my FOSS app stores. Most apps now are unnecessary anyway. I use my web browser for pretty much everything I once used an app for.

But I also value freedom and respect more than a convenient closed system that I'm going to constantly bitch about.

Turns out he downloaded a scam wallet (sparrow mobile) while trying to set up a "watch only" wallet. It asked for the wallet descriptor which is essentially everything a new wallet needs to spend UTXO's from the old wallet. So it was not a "watch only" wallet at all.

A fairly advanced scam which relies on:

1) The user not knowing there is no Sparrow mobile wallet

2) The user not knowing what wallet descriptors are

Always verify your downloads. In this case the user could have noticed the scam by not finding the mobile release on Craig Raw's trusted release listings while trying to verify with PGP.

I have noticed that although I have 1.7k followers, I am not receiving 1.7k likes on my notes. I'm not sure if this is being done intentionally or if these "friends" are forgetting to click 'like'. Either way, I've had enough. I have compiled a spreadsheet of individuals.

It's funny to hear bitcoiners called a cult when it seems to me like we can't agree on literally anything.

In Norway, there’s a culture of bad-mouthing unlike any other country I’ve ever visited.

That’s why I write a lot about Bitcoin on my Facebook so my old school friends can label me “the Bitcoin guy”.

In 10 years they’ll all regret being assholes, or maybe not, what do I know.

I get a kick knowing they’ll eat their words in the future.

I have a friend that asked me about investing in crypto, and that he had about $4500 to invest. I told him I was Bitcoin only.

As I was helping him with the Bitcoin purchase, he asked me if I knew anything about a coin called Chiliz.

I reiterated what I had told him earlier, and his choice was to invest $500 into Bitcoin.

At least some of his investment is safe.
