Hashrate is a direct reflection of bitcoin's energy backed consensus. unlike its fiat price which is subject to monetary policy adjustments, inflation, and other crazy world events like tariffs, hashrate offers much more objective and tangible metric for assessing bitcoins real intrinsic strength.

This is so much more true than I realized. This week I posted a couple times I wanted to connect to great engineers enthusiastic about llms and building tools to leverage them. Mainly because I really want to get away from Linkedin.

Before I knew it I was chatting with a couple of people in the comments and dms, all whom feel like genuinely great people.

Jumped on a call with one of them yesterday and we had an amazing 2 hour conversation on a Friday night. We could have talked through the night.

The whole experience was like a podcast with a fantastic guest - instead of a ‘job interview’.

It might be a coincidence or I gravely underestimated how much value Nostr already brings.

To value a network - doesn’t Metcalf’s law exclusively look at # nodes and # connections?

The magic might actually be in the quality of the connections and nodes, not merely the amount of them. This actually sounds obvious.

Eat more eggs.

Get more sun.

Lift heavier weights.

Stack more #Bitcoin.
