Quick update on MIL. She is stable but still in hospital. Once the medical team got her home meds back on track she calmed down. She still has more past tense conversations than present. I don’t know the next step. BIL is “supposed to be” working on it.

We can only suggest, BIL has the power. I’ve read studies are starting to link it to diabetes or insulin. But yeah, MIL forgetting to eat is a thing for sure.
I'm getting my hair cut for the first time since last year, I think. Amber has been cutting it more than 20 years. After that getting my allergy shots, then might swing by the Capitol Market to see if they have pine swags for the front fence. Then I'm leading Bible Study at City Of Hope Fellowship . I'll be discussing Mary the mother of Jesus. 
MIL had a better day yesterday. She seemed to know the guys but was having conversations from over 25 years ago. Sitter still has to be with her all the time. She was less aggressive. This week should determine what happens next.
Dad has appointments today and long term guest returns. ‘Tis the season.

MIL had a bad afternoon. She refused her meds, tried to pull the IV out, and ended up with an order that someone must be in the room with her all the time. They still plan to move her to a regular room. Mr. Holstein said she did know him but would go from talking sensibly to not making sense at all.
I think she is probably worse than the BIL admitted when he called a couple weeks ago. I've read 36 Hour Day, and some other similar things on dementia and Alzheimer's. I needed to understand what was going on with my mom. I hate to think she'll be in a facility, but there is no workaround I don't think. Hopefully the BIL will speak with social services and find a solution.

MIL has a bleed on the brain. Nurse seems to think she is aware of what is going on. CT scan this morning is no worse than when they ran one last night.

I asked, "She has one or they are watching for one?" He said he didn't know. The BIL is weak at sharing information and making decisions. Mr. Holstein doesn't always ask good questions.
Dad's follow-up from spine surgery is at 10:30.
