I think the main thing is that it is a way for custodial wallets to fix privacy. All sats sent to custodian get turned into cashu ecash tokens. All tokens are the same and custodian doesn't know who owns what. When withdrawal is made, token is exchanged for sats. Not sure if this is exactly right.

According to this, swapping in and out of L-BTC there is 0 relationship between the BTC deposited and the L-BTC. Does that mean swapping in and out gives even greater privacy than on-chain mixing?
