It seems nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 doesn't recognize a pasted npub as such. Apps like nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 and noStrudel figure it out anyway, but without a tag I don't think they'll be notified. 
I think the tag is nostr:npub

Everyone can see your public key and log in in "read mode", with that key, only you can log in using the private key.
