Have Damus sweep the ecash into a “home” mint to redeem.
This will let the mints do their lightning layer txs.
Mark all ecash as “promised” Sats until redeemed.
Wow! This is the last piece I have been looking for.
Now, its time to build!
Yep. And when you tell people there is the cheat code to generational wealth in the manual, they still don't read it!
would a Frost signature algorithm work?
My latest with nostr:npub1dtgg8yk3h23ldlm6jsy79tz723p4sun9mz62tqwxqe7c363szkzqm8up6m on his book, The Bushido of Bitcoin
awesome pod cast Stephan!
is it a good read? my reading list is pretty long as it stands...
keep up the great work guys
Super cool! Sounds like a company worth working for.
interesting write up. A high level sophisticated multi-vector attack reduces the blame space to highly motivated and funded teams. And they clearly were there just for the corn because they were willing to just run configuration interference.
We have now clearly left behind the mantra of "build fast and break things".
Keep up the good fight.
Society will always have layers of aggregation and centralization, as they are downstream of the natural forcing function (economies of scale).
What is most important is what services at what layer... The wrong service at the wrong layer leads to abusive relationships.
They will come and take the products or all our work and labor. Best to walk away from the permissions world and come to Galt’s Gulch - aka Nostr.
That’s a beefy machine to keep up.
Liquid made the trade off of a centralized federation for quick blocks, over the slower decentralized main chain.
Which is a smart fit into the layered money paradigm.
How long are you going to run the node?
Art can be contentious. And if it wasn't malicious then perhaps a poke at the memspace parsing is fair game too. thanks, stay cool...
Nostr is like Discord, but free open source (FOSS).
Discord is important because it’s community centric communication and friends. Our society is defined by our communities. But Discord is centralized and vulnerable to capture and censorship.
As the Nostr “community model” use case develops I think we’ll see the global default channel (scope) abandoned - the volume will make it only useful for data mining.
Relays will pick and choose the communities they support from other relays. And most likely the community will have to pay to use if volume is above the watermark.
Hopefully the community owner gets to set the revenue share models for relays, as large communities will need to pay for service.
Decentralizing communications is our first step to resist the centralized (homogenized) society and group think. Fight the 51% attack on culture.
To be free we will need all our technologies to support a sovereign group of 1 person.
Like the original TweetDeck !!! Super functional. Well done.
