P.s. my way to go on #nostr is #Amethyst, Wallet of Satoshi (not working in US) or any other wallet, also cashu and ecash wallet, and it works also with Nostr Wallet Connect so if you need one tap #zap you have them, and you have them also with #nuts.. I believe is the only client doing that right now.

Thanks, I will take a look, however I see that app is only for android and I wanted to test something that I can recommend most of family and friends, and is also compatible with iOS

I like the idea of giving a little more user control. Maybe the primal team will chime in. For now as a workaround I tried setting my one tap zap amount to zero and it saves. When I tried to zap a note the zap shows up as zero temporarily and then disappears when I come back to the note, and it doesn’t send anything from your wallet. Forces you to use the custom zap screen. Might be a good temporary workaround to avoid finger slips 😂

It’s a good suggestion. You can configure default zap amounts but perhaps it would be nice to also have a toggle to turn one-tap zaps on/off. Maybe a “slide to confirm” or anything that the user can configure easily to turn it on/off

FYI if you long press the zap button on a note then it will bring up a pop up that lets you set a custom amount and message before confirming the zap to send.

Yes, it works! in the primal app you can the amounts, interesting, but again I think this should be configurable (if the user wanto to send the zap or just missclicked)

Hi again, it was a figer slip I just did it again! Haha. I thought a confirmation message would show up for the zapps, but for new users I think is a bit confusing, nevertheless mistery solved :)

They charge a premium for in-app purchases because of App Store fees. Not sure what people use to buy sats on that side of the pond though.

Just created a wallet in Primal! It seems 4,95 eur a bit expensive for around topping up 4500 sats. What do you think? Any other recommended alternative #nostr #primal #newbie #wallet
