Oh or you mean price in sats instead of btc I get it.
Woocommerce dosen't allow sats pricing. Only btc.
I do price in whole numbers but 10$ worth of btc for shipping was lower than the 2 decimal points.
Unless you mean price in $ and finalize the payment in btc? That's never happening. This is an hyperbitcoinzed store.
From Canada. I use Canada post since it's the easiest way for me. I had so much going and so little energy left I didn't go around to shop shipping prices so maybe I could've found cheaper elsewhere but sometimes you gotta chose where you direct this energy.
It was a 9x6x4 boxe. Not that big. Also one of my customers in Germany got hit by a taxe upon receiving her's. It sucks there's no way for them to know before hand. I'll have to warn them.
But lost packages really is my nightmare..
I may have found someone here that can help me for much cheaper. Also upwork has some people willing to do it for 75$.
This place woocommerce support directed me to is ridiculous. 400$ for a line of code...
What are some of the silliest mistakes you’ve made running a business ? I have soooo many
Once I hired a sweet old man to do my bookkeeping. I had no idea what was the difference between accounting and finance. Neither did I know manufacturing accounts is psycho level. Or that startup is so temperamental and accounts need stability. This sweet old person wasn't cut out to do the job but I did not have the heart to fire him. SO i learned bookkeeping, did his job, paid his salary, did not pay myself and that went on for a year before I had no choice but to let him go. I did buy him a nice ice shaver machine as a farewell gift (We have this ice shaved dessert locally that he loves)
Lessons learnt are quite obvious here. But also, as an entrepreneur, it helps to know what's your cash flow status on a weekly basis or even daily. That and figuring out cal table strategy will up the game if you are on the VC route.
I have a long list of other mistakes. Used to be such a tech snob, so much of a humbling process involved. Used to think hardcore tech speciality means I can't do creative things. Used to think marketing was too fancy and complicated and out of my depth. Used to think finance math was hard. Not knowing the difference between personal branding vs business branding and how to optimize both. Not pivoting fast enough. Not knowing what to do when you have so much advice thrown at you. Not removing emotions out of business. Thinking that everyone knows better than you. Not having confidence. Feeling insecure. Also, I was that person who had “if you build it they would come” on my chat status for 2 years - I read this on nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac post and was thinking to myself I was totally that idiot lol. I am still making a lot of mistakes in terms of time management with all the extra jobs i have and that's something I really need to work on.
But my point is, people make mistakes. It's ok to make mistakes. Mistakes are not going to define you as a person. A project failure is not a representation of a person’s failure.
What really makes a difference is understanding what's right and expanding on it, what's wrong and doing something about it. This entrepreneurship journey is a journey on not just the business but also on yourself. It really really shakes things up.
My biggest mistake so far was to send a package to the UK but without tracking to save on fees. It was costing me 70-80$ with tracking so I opted for no tracking at 50$.
Client haven't received it and since there's no Tracking I feel obligated to do the work again and send it with tracking. A lot of money will be lost but brand reputation is everything to me.
(I have my website really really soon btw 🤗)
Looking to hire a WordPress developper to customize the woocommerce core plugin.
Adding the amount of recognized decimal of the shipping costs at checkout (from 2 to 8).
Paid in sats #bitcoin
Freelancer just quoted me 400$US for this lol.
It's most likely an hour job or less for someone who knows what he is doing.
Might limit the website orders to North America at first and offer free shipping.
I'm setting up an hyperbitcoinzed store. Everything is priced in bitcoin. Woocommerce supports that.. well...
It's supports half of it. The shipping options of woocommerce can only see 2 decimal point. I need more. Woocommerce supporte printed me toward à service of freelancers but if someone here is capable of customize the core plugin of woocommerce, I pay in sats.
The website is beautiful and coming very soon 😌
The work of my life is taking shape.
Can't do better, help me empty my stock.

I'm currently out of buckle along side my supplier since I'm the one that emptied his stock 😅.
There might be a few weeks wait. Next year I'll have a website BUT if you pre-order one now through dm I'll make you a good price to excuse the long wait time. (150k⚡️vs normal 205k ⚡️)
For you to see what you prefer :)
Will be out of the shop for a few weeks.
Next year we launch this thing for real.

📢 Announcing BTCPay Server 1.12.0!📢
🥷Under the hood improvements
🛍️ Point of Sale enhancements
⚡ Generate BoltCards at scale through BTCPay directly!
📧 Better email form functionality
🖇️New Smartstore Integration & WooCommerce improvements.
Let's dive into it 🧵

🛠️ .NET 8
In this release, we've upgraded to .NET 8, which brings improved performance and new long term support.
As Postgresql 11 has reached its end-of-life (EOL) status, we will no longer provide support for it in BTCPay Server.
⚠️Plugins
Starting from 1.12.0, plugins are now able to extend BTCPay Server’s lightning support, enabling new integration possibilities.
Some plugins incompatible with the current version of BTCPay may automatically be disabled. Once updated to 1.12.0, BTCPay Server will let you know through notifications and you can update plugins for continued use.
🛍️ Point of Sale - Ability to add and clear amounts.
We’ve added the ability to add up amounts through + functionality, making it easier to calculate the total, and clear out wrongly added amounts.
🛍️ Point of Sale - Transaction history
Cashiers can now see a transaction history of the Point of sale app, ensuring easier invoice troubleshooting and refunding for users with permission to do so. We also improved error messaging on the checkout when using NFC cards and optimized receipts printing.
🛍️ Point of Sale - Categories view improvement
In case of too many categories in the POS cart view, categories are now scrollable. Starting 1.12.0, categories and filters can now be hidden from the main view, but they’re on by default if you’re using categories.
✏️Item editor used in both Point of Sale and Crowdfunding apps got improved, allowing easier adding, drag and drop and editing experience for products.
⚡ Generate BoltCards at scale through BTCPay directly!
Inspired by the success of circular economies using BTCPay on physical POS devices and NFC cards, we’ve added direct integration of BoltCard into our Pull Payment system, allowing anyone to issue physical NFC cards.
Quite simply, any BTCPay user now has the ability to not only generate NFC cards for spending for their local economies and merchants, but also have an easy way to do that at scale, thanks to our BTCPay Vault, it takes only a few seconds.
📧 Enhancing email form functionality
You can now send an email automatically when invoicing a client through a payment request, processing a salary for your employee or issuing a refund through payouts.
Metadata collected through the custom forms is now exposed in the email forms, which means you can trigger emails with customer shipping information or any other custom data you’ve collected through the checkout form.
👛 Wallet improvements
To ensure better fee estimation in BTCPay’s wallet, we’ve set Mempool.space as a default fee estimation source.
Support for BIP129 has been added. We’ve also improved instructions for Passport device import and improved labels.
🖇️A new e-commerce integration for merchants is available - Smartstore.
We’re inviting merchants using this CMS to beta test it and report back how it works. Our integration team has been on fire lately, and you can expect more CMS and eCommerce plugins in the future. Special thanks to Nisaba for leading on the SmartStore development.

🖇️One of our most popular e-commerce integrations - BTCPay for
WooCommerce has been updated as well. Most notably, the plugin is now fully compatible with WooCommerce cart and checkout blocks.

New plugin updates, and once again a reminder to LNbank users to update and patch a critical security bug in that plugin. 🚨

🚨 Beware of scammers!
Despite our numerous warnings in the past months, we’re still seeing that people are falling for a scam called Bitcoin Bonus or similar derivative, which is an ongoing scam that abuses our brand and software.

Is there a way or will there ever be a way to price our goods in sats?
I don't want my items to be listes at 25$ = 10k⚡️
I want them at 10k⚡️= 25$
If the price of bjtcoin was to double, my items would still be listed at 10k⚡️
