I don’t know if I’m 100% and Objectivist but my moral/ethical framework certainly starts from there (I mostly quibble over certain assessments of the nature of of reality, but egoism and my love for my life and my loved ones as the ultimate standard of value… but I digress …)

When there is a market created of buyers and sellers who refuse any other settlement mechanism… the extent that one can effect this is the extent to which that person/group can supply/demand goods and services only denominated in that particular medium of exchange. I am reminded of Atlas Shrugged when Dagny Taggart wanted to purchase something Galt’s Gulch and they refused to use money from the outside.
Knowing if some propaganda or assertion is true is not enough. Ask yourself how to best frame it…

Make sure your frameworks of information suit your purposes.
America is a great place for people who have got a “no chill” mode and want to build.
Terrible place if you have an unhealthy envy of those same people. The temptation to go nihilistic is always there and we must fight that meme in our society.
