A happy century does not exist; but there are moments of happiness, and there is freedom in the moment.

You can easily force people to see things they don't agree with: Don't have zaps, don't have an algorithm, don't have a block button, don't have administrators.

It's called free speech in public.

The zap system discourages posts like that. Only vapid posts that instantly get a point across that the reader implicitly agrees with get zaps. The trend is toward pithy, uninsightful positive reinforcement. It's a bubble-creating machine.

That's soft censorship. Same as the reddit downvote. The outcome is the same: Dissent gets squashed, conformity gets elevated. The means are just ones that let you pretend you're not censoring anybody.

Replying to every single bitcoin shill post with "Reported for posting ads."

All you have done is increase the amount of entities with parasocial financial control over you. You traded 5 kings who think they have a right to rule over you with hard censorship for 5000 who think they have a right to rule over you with soft censorship.

Objectively worse!

It's not about friction in business and overregulation. Large percentages of our population are simply valueless. If you sat them down in front of a griddle and told them to make cheeseburgers you could not squeeze 15 dollars of value out of them in a day, let alone an hour.

Your petty sarcasm isn't interesting.

Do you have anything to offer but a countersignal?

Why is this even something you think about

"Mammon /ˈmæmən/ in the New Testament of the Bible is commonly thought to mean money, material wealth, or any entity that promises wealth, and is associated with the greedy pursuit of gain. The Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke both quote Jesus using the word in a phrase often rendered in English as "You cannot serve both God and mammon."

In the Middle Ages, it was often personified and sometimes included in the seven princes of Hell. Mammon in Hebrew (ממון) means "money". The word was adopted to modern Hebrew to mean wealth."

It's a very easy fast for everyone, even a child, to do.

I have done 40 day fasts. It aint easy.
