What a time to be alive. We are live through the bifurcation of society. On one side we have a dying artificial construct of a legacy monetary system, rapidly turning into a dystopian nightmare in order to perpuate itself; on the other, we have a bright future enabled by the best money ever created: #Bitcoin, which will bring a Second Renaissance in all foundational fields of the society that embraces it: technology, science, health, commerce, culture, morals, belonging, faith, space exploration, are just some examples. The game theory is playing out well for the incumbent, as it attacks, among its many other atributes, one of the strongest forces and human emotions: Greed. This simple fact is already showing important cracks in the legacy systems ranks, which is not to be ignored: The Spot ETF approvals, e.g., which we now know happened against the will of the bureaucratic class (SEC & Co.). You may think its just a strategy to be able to kickoff a EO6102, but here lays the nuclear option that this may be another attack that will backfire right back at them. Once you taste the sweet pumps, that will inevitably come, this does something to you, ESPECIALLY when you belong to the most greedy bastardian class that have inhabited this planet: Wallstreet and The Fiat Banking Cartel

hey #nostr fam,

I'm thinking of doing a music video on #bitcoin

I need to find some images that represent the decadent, rat race or yolo fiat culture. The idea is to split the screen in two and show the contrast between fiat and bitcoin culture.

An image says more and goes further in terms of expressing ideas in a short span, perfect for a music video.

I'll zap 1000 sats to any image you show me that I think is worth for the video. Can be a photograph or a meme or whatever you think of. Just try to avoid hardcoded texts in the img

To get more specific, some examples down here:

Another rabbithole

I was asking myself the same. Seems not on nostr

Dear Chris,

I think you've made history. You say here you're not a good musician, but I think your songs say otherwise. I've always been addicted to music myself and of many dif styles, but not so much into folk until I hard your song. Its been listened at elast a hundred times and I still get goosebumps.

You have made history mister, wether you like it or not, in the true sense of the word. I think I've never witnessed that an absolute nobody has reached the exploding phenomenon that Rich Men North of Richmond has had. Your voice, the lyrics are powerful like few things in this often shallow world. I remember when I heard about it through nostr:npub10uthwp4ddc9w5adfuv69m8la4enkwma07fymuetmt93htcww6wgs55xdlq and followed the number of listeners on spotify. Amazing! from 100k in the first week all the way to 200 million !!! I think smth like this has never happened in the history of humanity

Here comes the interesting part: as you say that the Internet is "a parasite" and not a net benefit for humans. I see its just a technology that can be used in different ways, but over time it trends towards the better and we can see it through e.g. the reach your music has had. That wouldn't have been possible before the world wide web. People are waking up in masses, more than we tend to think bc humans generally can't see exponential developments. Now honest ppl with a story to tell like journalist, doctors, blue collars, bitcoiners, austrian economists, have a plaform and cause impact on hugr numbers of ppl. Damn, I wouldn't be not even a 10% of the positive person I am today without it. My improvements came thanks to clear signal. It takes time but if you are hyper determined to grasp the truth you'll find it in the online noise.

Also, as you know, we live in a system that has increasingly rotten over a whole 20th century and I believe the cultural garbage we see on the web is a result of that. Call me too much of an optimist, but I believe gradually, then suddently internet & bitcoin will helped hugely to realign humanity to its true common sense balance it desperately needs, not the other way around.

I'm a nobody. But from a whole soul to another whole soul, I'd like to send you two books in particular that may put your views towards the internet and faith in the future like it did to me. I kind of felt with you there when you refer to the internet as a parasite, bc those were my thought back in time.

Thanks for your creations, Chris, from the depest sense of the heart. I hope you feel proud of what you do/did, bc thats an achievement very few man can reach. Faith in humanity, thanks in part to stories like yours.

I appreciate you. Hope you are well

finally some stickers/graffiti that have meaning👍

Another aha moment as I listen to nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev deftly explain how, in modern monetary theory, to default on debt is to delete money, and this is why fiat apologists see deflation as undesirable.

thx, good to know. Will give it a listen at workout

yes, I think the network effect is a very strong force. Its like Jeff Booth always says that humans don't have the ability to see exponential developments bc they are not linear. I think that nostr will slowly progress, then suddently

great! Seems you already linked your lightning address good job!

Nostr is very powerful & we are just in the beginnings. The fact that its just a protocol, like Booth says is gonna change everything.

For me I was running parallel with Twitter for a year until I finally got the purple pill after been locked out of X for a day bc their algo just malfunctions.

It wasn't much but it felt like hand got burned on the stove to me lol

Hello mister!

You convinced me to sign up on nostr.

Your work is amazing and u do a very good job on explaining bitcoin.

Have a great day!

welcome !

powerful image. Human made or ai?

hello #nostr, here goes another #bitcoin bounty. Whatever I think is best answer gets 20.000 sats zap directly today.

Let me know why this is a bad idea:

Let's say I want to create a digital recovery of my wallet, in case physical backup is lost, found or destroyed.

Here is a setup I came up with:

0. Create a single sig BIP39 Mnemonic (24 words) with a Passphrase (strong, +12 characters & mixed )

1. Write on paper. Separate into two parts (e.g. 11 / 13 words)

2. Encrypt each of the two parts with AES-256 encryption, using your Passphrase as key to decrypt (like Samurai wallet did)

*Method: Write from paper into an encryption tool separately each of the two and do it offline on a open source encryption app, then erase it completely afterwards before you go online with that device.

3. Store each of the encrypted parts separately in four or more different email clients /clouds /chats, but never leave the two of them on a single client. I thought of clients that use strong encryption as a 2nd layer of protection, like tutanota, protonmail,, element, session, signal ... why 4 or more? well if you are not trusting that any of these centralized company servers will live forever then you better diversify the risk of being locked out of your files forever. You could also store them locally, but that just defeats the purpose of them being globally accessible, not relying on a physical location or material that can be damaged/destroyed/found by unwanted.

Thanks to all for your time.

Its fun to fantasize. My authism runs strong these days lol so I wanted to get a good counterpoint to my assumption. This is a problem I thought about alot
