If government or actually any bad actor (including your neighbour) knows you have something incommon with that Bitcoin thing then when desperate he will come to you and threaten to hurt those very people you care the most and wish to protect, to force you to give him bitcoin. And you will do this.
Lay low. Keep calm. Care about opsec. Paranoid adveserial thinking is a virtue.

Moreover not only military expenses are included in GDP calculations but now for example in EU they pushing change in ESG classification to include defense spending there.
