Handy for casually sharing bits from your day. Micro blogging — mixed with other, random stuff, like the current size of you tomato plants.
Whenever one your friends gets in trouble they can post a note to a select few relays and their peers can find out.
All good. However, for searches on Nostr, as you would on a world wide social media platform, I think we need another kind of server network.
One that the smaller relays can pass notes on to.

I think data will become liquid to a degree where the data format does not matter so much.
If you want the data as an rss feed you'll get that.
If you'll want it as a nostr note you'll get that.
One way to get to that stage is through services (popular called dvms) on top of nostr.
On Nostr information is free, as in bird. And so, whatever platform you are on in 10 years, you can still search decade old Nostr notes. On X/Twitter information is not so free atm, so the faster your friends migrate to Nostr the better.
