Tether loses value equally as fast as the US dollar and carries the risk of beating the dollar to zero at an exponential rate. If you wanted to “trade”, “buy”, “convert” $10,000 fiat dollars for tether it wouldn’t be one for one. You’d be paying a few. You’d also be paying that fee again if you needed to flip it back. You’re devaluing yourself. You’re putting a self imposed tax on yourself. The value of your tether will never go up, I fact it will always be going down because for the past 50 years the value of the dollar has declined 98%. From the article I read the soon to be Commerce Secretary is sitting on a LOT of tether and there’s only ONE way he can get his money out. He needs you to buy it. If nobody ever bought another tether he would stuck with his entire bag and apparently it’s substantial. He’s definitely going to have an agenda that’s pro his bag.
