Choose to steal the signs. Use them to roof your chicken roof and the sign posts to build a fence.

It's a beautiful day in Katchemak Bay state park.

These fish all got frozen. This fall, when I am less busy, I'll smoke what is left of last years fish.

It was down for about 6 hours.

It was another glorious, sunny day in Alaska. My wife, son and I hit the river and managed to pull out 33 more salmon. We filleted, vac packed and froze them then I buried the carcasses in the garden. My poor food savers got a workout. Tomorrow we are making soup out of all the trimmings and small pieces.

Alaska state troopers are reporting a state wide 911 outage due to a "nation wide technology outage". That is strange and concerning. Are you experiencing a 911 outage in your state?

Today was good day. I went fishing and caught 15 sockeyes in 4 hours. It took about 2 mores to fillet, vac pack and freeze them. Lord willing, I will do it again tomorrow.

They aren't chickens until they start laying eggs, which could be anywhere between 16-24 weeks old, depending on breed. You can count your pullets as soon as you are confident of their sex.

Vladimir Arutyunian threw a grenade at George W. Bush in 2005. It landed short and failed to detonate.

Did you hear about the cowboy who said he had 100 cows?

He only had 97, but he rounded up.
