Oh, that's a different issue than what I was thinking of. It sounds like it's either expecting a particular npub to auth but not getting it, or the auth process on your end just isn't working.
It was a SocMed app where people would create like 6sec videos. The limited The length to only those few seconds so people got creative with how they used their time. It was kinda fun.
yo nostr:npub10npj3gydmv40m70ehemmal6vsdyfl7tewgvz043g54p0x23y0s8qzztl5h quick question. I'm getting auth challenges when trying to send GW messages to wss://auth.nostr1.com - pretty sure that's not supposed to happen right?!
Are your messages going through? Because the relay can return auth errors in response to the auto rebroadcasts done by some clients. I just checked on my end and it's working properly for me. Are you using Amethyst?

It would be better if people would reduce the average amount of their zaps rather than zap less. Zapping is an action that could easily disappear if enough people simply give up on it as the price of bitcoin rises. And that would be very detrimental to nostr.

Generally, but nuance and intonation, which are often necessary to properly understand someone's words, don't convey well over text. Emojis can help alleviate this problem, but the possibility of misunderstanding and misinterpretation is always more likely over text than in spoken language.

Bullshit paywall. 👎
I don't think bitcoin will really take off as a currency until all coins are mined, and transactions become the basis for utility. As long as coins are still mined, the instinct to treat it as an asset and hoard will prevail. That's just my two sats.
I'm certainly open to that possibility. I try not to lean too hard on data and trends when I imagine how future pricing will go. I've found that I'm much more accurate if I just absorb all the data I can, then go with my instincts. I've been pretty accurate, but I always leave room for surprise.
It took me a minute... Lol
I'm very hesitant to use hardware wallets. I'm much more comfortable using software wallets with hardware signers.
The problem is that axiom conflicts with the other axiom, You've gotta be in it to win it.
Back in the mid-90s, I became very interested in the work of Robert Monroe and the Monroe Institute. I attended a week-long workshop at the Institute meant to be a practical introduction to out-of-body experiences using their Hemi-Sync audio technology. I achieved some very deep and productive mental states, but not an OBE.
About a month later I did have one that I was able to confirm via external witness who was able to confirm that the experience I had corresponded to actual circumstances and events that took place at the same time. I've tried to reproduce it, and have had some vivid experiences, but unfortunately that was the only experience I was able to objectively confirm.
But the entire saga sparked my interest in altered states, which started with enthogens and audio manipulation, and ultimately led to meditation.
Do you get extra points for cleaning someone else's bathroom? If so, mine could use a once-over.
Drugs are shortcuts that work, but come with consequences. I'm my experience, drugs opened my mind to meditation as a better way.
I'm a big fan of meditation, and achieving alternate mental states.
