I like the bus analogy. There is another way to describe joinstr.
- An ostrich creates a nest (pool)
- Some female ostriches lay their eggs in the nest (register inputs)
- Incubation period lasts for a few minutes (coordination using relays)
- Hatching of eggs (new UTXOs)
Eggs were of different colors but the ostriches that come out of these eggs look the same.

It becomes decentralized?
Everyone was too busy focusing on postmix tools to realize you don't need a postmix tool if everything can happen in a mix!

And a (not so) secret project that I have been working on for years will soon transform coinjoins into one of the best payment protocols out there with massive cost savings and privacy gains for everyone involved

In some cases it's better to avoid payments in coinjoin transactions. Payjoin or Octojoin works better in such situations because less or no coordination and transactions look normal.
Also wabisabi isn't the only implementation that allows payments in coinjoin. You can achieve the same with joinmarket and joinstr.
Was this during the recent runes mint and high fees?
on the flight over here I wrote this new NIP-60 wallet

NIP 60 is the best way to lose money on nostr.
No. There are test mints that let you mint for free but you can do the same in real mints. There is no chain, custodian (trusted third party that issues ecash) decides the rules.
Bitcoiners would subscribe to d/Saylor if someone creates it.
You can do conversion directly in a search engine but that’s too much for apple to handle apparently
You can convert XAU to USD in search engine. Does that work in apple currency conversion calculator?
Well... there are many bitcoiners who don't even consider it a currency.
Today is the day Satoshi announced an unstoppable decentralized monetary protocol. Something that would enable people to send money to anyone in the world without any third party being able to stop them.
Use it for what it was meant to be used for. Yusef Mahmoud is a Palestinian cab driver who has been helping feed civilians I'm Gaza for a year now. You can donate to help him here: https://btcpay.foragoodcause.xyz/apps/37W6GRGutGU9a4F61uHeFcjHFyQv/crowdfund

I use it for minting tokens created by trusted third parties.
Some people are selling me custodial solutions.
It's not decentralized and has leaders.
