Effect change anonymously. Let every man make known what kind of government would command his respect, and that will be one step towards obtaining it. -Thoreau, on Civil Disobedience Experienced policy advisor who promotes open and transparent government and free-market regulatory frameworks.

Making the world a better place necesitates action. I'm happy you found value in the message!

I think monero is great for its use cases, which is anonymous payments. As a store of value I'm not sold, but for payments its great.

Its even better because regulators are banning it. Must have something good going for it.

Don't give me that pronoun bullshit, I'm a proud "He" 🤣🤣

I understand. Trusting authority is your choice and I did go a bit hard on "compliant" individuals. I took that approach to make a point and mean no disrespect.

I do believe everyone should be free to act according to their own conscience.

In this instance however the compliance virus is eroding accountability and trust, and ultimately your own country's sovereignty.

You make me blish... Good thing I wear a mask!

Just couldn't sit idle any longer. Had to do something.

Aye was my pleasure!

Any other podcasts you think I should reach out to?

I'm primed to get something going - I hint at it at the end of the podcast.

Screw lawyers and taking this octopus to court.

being a frequent flyer perhaps you should consider getting earlier and opting out no matter how annoying it may be while you can, thing is, there is not enough data to know how much harm can do to people due to frequent usage, imagine the people working there...

Airport Body Scanner Radiation Comparison

Modern airport body scanners use different technologies compared to metal detectors, and they emit different types of radiation. Here's a comparison:

* **Airport Body Scanners**:

- **Millimeter Wave Scanners**: These scanners use non-ionizing radiation, specifically in the extremely high frequency (EHF) radio band. They do not generate ionizing radiation and have no proven adverse health effects, though long-term studies are still needed to confirm safety.

- **Backscatter X-ray Scanners**: These scanners use low-dose ionizing radiation, typically delivering a dosage of between 0.05 and 0.1 μSv per scan. The radiation levels are very low, but there has been debate about their safety, leading to their ban in some countries.

* **Metal Detectors**:

- Metal detectors do not emit any radiation. They operate by generating a low-intensity magnetic field that passes from one side of the detector to the other. They are used to detect metals and can be sensitive to orthopedic implants and other metallic objects.

In summary, while metal detectors do not emit any radiation, airport body scanners can emit either non-ionizing or low-dose ionizing radiation, depending on the technology used.

Look at why minors aren't allowed to go in one. The UK banned children from going in, because the image they generate show the person naked and images of naked children is underage pornography. That's why families are waived to the metal scanner Instead.

I fly 10-12 times a year, and have done so since 2006 or whenever they were put in, I have NEVER been in one. Yes they pat me down, but I refuse to comply with the body scanners.

Good to know I'm not the only one.
