#[0] when you click on a note from your notifications, the back button says it’s going to take you to The Universe.
It doesn’t actually take you to global, and everything works as expected, but thought you should know
#[3] said he was having issues with following a link and going back to Damus, but I haven’t experienced any issues.
I do notice a small jump, like two note above, but it works better if I swipe to go back.
He definitely uses a lot of good word salad. When I first heard it, I thought it was very interesting. I actually listened to that interview several times to try and figure out what he means. I don’t trust the government though, so I’m biased 😂
I’ve heard Jason discuss this with Robert Breedlove. I’m not into the whole “Bitcoin is a weapon of mass destruction that should be used by governments for national security” thing.
I remember you talking about how the Canadian trucker protest was the perfect time to utilize Bitcoin, but it failed because the people didn’t understand best practices. I think nostr will ensure that never happens again.

NIP-57 will solve this. It’s not implemented in all the wallets yet, but soon you will see how many zaps your note has and who sent what.
NIP-57 is blowing my mind right now. We can sell a product directly from nostr, and have an invoice that proves the customer paid. We can setup a products page with a new private key and have our own storefront.
And the truly amazing thing is this all runs on Bitcoin. We don’t have to know anything about our customer, just that their public key shows proof of payment.

It’s just to appeal to our emotions. There’s no logic behind it. I really don’t mind 3d guns on Bitcoin, but it’s not a good reason for jpegs.
My note is missing now, so I guess you were the only one who saw it 🤨

No I get it. It just seems like everyone thinks it’s cool that you can share 3d guns over Bitcoin, and it will “end gun control”. But it’s not even necessary. Bitcoin is perfect for money. For anything else, there are cheaper and more efficient options.
